[Nodxa] CQ VHF Contest - Saturday

Hi All,


This evening Linda & I arrived in Chatham, MA, to spend a week with her cousin here on Cape Cod. We're in the very eastern sliver on the Cape also known as FN51 - a 99% water grid.


I brought the IC-746 and plan to be active in the CQWW VHF Contest this weekend, from 2 pm Saturday to 5 pm Sunday. Here's to the hope of getting a good Es opening over the weekend, thereby getting the chance to QSO lots of you on six meters.


We'll also be spending time socializing, so I don't plan to be on full time, If I'm around but the band seems closed, I may put on the CQ auto repeat CW and keep an ear on the radio.


As time & weather permit (rain expected tonight and tomorrow), I may show up outside the contest as well.


Whatever the propagation, fire up and pass out a few (or more) QSOs.  And if you hear me, work me and spot me!
