[Nodxa] NODXA CQWW WPX SSB Pre-Contest Luncheon

Hi Tedd and the rest of you wild party  types!
 
I've held off on responding until I knew  if I would be able to attend.  
Unfortunately, I cannot.    
 
The "winter that never went away" was a  little tough down here in Amish 
Country.    Let's not talk about  the frozen pipes or the free wheeling 
antennas on the big tower   ...
 
The latest problem is the collapse of my  very old tile culvert at the end 
of my driveway.   This has filled the  ditch to my south to the very top  
... One more rainstorm and water will be  running over my county road ..     
Just this afternoon I  received my 2 approved permits from the County 
Engineer, so that work can  begin.   The contractor who is doing the work says it 
will happen on  Friday the 27th, unless it is pouring rain.
 
SOOOO, I will not be in attendance  ...   Sadly, it looks like none of the 
other Wayne Countians will be  there either to offer counsel and advice  ... 
  Sorry to miss an  event with such a lively crowd!     I just noticed that 
K8ZH  will be there ... he is just a few miles from the Wayne County line, 
and I'm  sure can offer advice on how to clear a frequency in the contest 
with a power  mike!!

The Northern Ohio DX Association
CQWW WPX SSB  Pre-Contest Luncheon

Northern Ohio DX Association (NODXA) is  proud to announce their first
"Pre-Contest Luncheon" of 2015 year for the  CQWW WPX SSB Contest. All are
invited, not just NODXA members. The first  luncheon will take place at
noon on Friday, March 27th, at:
Mulligan's Bar  and Grille
20880 Royalton Rd (R82)
Strongsville, Ohio 4413
Easy to get to  -- Take west R82 exit off of I-71. The restaurant is about
3 miles west of I-71  on R82
-- Or  a mile west of the Pearl Rd and Royalton Rd inter-
section which is the center  of Strongsville
-- The restaurant is on the north side of the street  and
Drug Mart is in the same shopping area.....

Attendees will be  ordering luncheon off the menu. The restaurant has a
variety of different  foods -- daily specials, great burgers, salads,
pierogies, fish, chicken,  steak....etc. (typical bar food)
The purpose of the Luncheon is to  relax, have a good luncheon (along with
some spirits), enjoy the  camaraderie with Contester/DXers, as well as
sharing your  thoughts/strategies for the upcoming contest......

THIS IS  IMPORTANT! "Please" let me know if you are coming. I need a head
count for  the restaurant and I need it before Monday, March 23rd. I will
announce in  the coming weeks who will be attending. We had 16 attendees
last time, so  let's hope for a great turn out again.
