*Big Gun Dennis - W8NW and I talked on the phone this afternoon. We
discussed our annual luncheon, and have come up with an idea that we
think may be more suitable than in past years.*

*We've traditionally had our luncheon the day after Thanksgiving,
several hours before the start of the CQWW CW Contest. A number of you
have had conflicts, making it difficult to attend. These vary from
"going out of town for Thanksgiving" . .... "have family or friends
visiting for Thanksgiving" .... " I always shop until I drop on Black
Friday" ..... "I'm getting my antennas ready for the contest" ..... ETC ETC*
**
*What we are proposing is to have our luncheon a couple of days AFTER
the CQWW CW weekend! Hardly anyone works anymore (!) or if you do, it's
not a problem to take time off (!) ...THUS, we are suggesting one of two
weekdays.*
**
*As suspected, Chris' Cafe in Mansfield is no longer in business ...
that should come as no surprise to many of you! Dennis suggested we go
back to Das Dutch Kitchen, right on Route 30, overlooking Lake Harmony,
between Routes 57 and 94.*
**
*Suggested dates are either Tuesday December 1 or Wednesday December 2 ...*

*What say, folks? Let me know what you think? Does the idea suit you?
Which day is better?*
**
*Please reply! *
**
*Everyone is welcome!*
