I agree!  LOTW is a great way to go as you can get things confirmed  
quickly and it is much easier to get them credited through the DXCC desk.   So I 
would suggest you try that route again.
 
FYI, an EQSL confirmations are not acceptable for DXCC at the present  
time.  I do not foresee any changes to this policy in the near  future.
