DX Clusters
HI folks:
Do any of you know if there are any old fashioned DX Clusters (those
that use RF rather than the internet) still around. I dont have
internet in the shack, and getting there is not an option, so if
possible I would like to hook up my old TNC and get it going that way
Thanks

Antennas
Hi folks:
I have a couple questions for you. I have one element of an old beam
that used to be a rotatable dipole. since I now have my tri-bander, i
want to turn it into something. I am thinking some sort of a ground
mounted, phased array. before I start building, I need to model it out.
Can someone please tell me how to find the proper values for the traps
that are on it so I can include them in the model? Will an array like
this work? it would be useful with the upcoming vietnam and other
DXPeditions to have some really low takeoff angles. The dipole and
tribander work good, but I would like to be able to supplement on a
temporary basis for some events.
thanks
TIM
