Subject: [Nodxa] Need some help/suggestions
Hi All,
I am trying something new with operating remotely, using only computers and no longer the Remote Rig units for my K3 radios.
Currently, I us Remote Rig and things work pretty good, I just want to stop lugging the second radio/PS/etc back and forth with me. So, what I'd like to do, is just run things via computer.
I have downloaded and tested Teamviewer to remote into my my PC... works great! I also have downloaded and tested Win4ksuite, that works great, for K3, KPA500, KAT500. Only problem... if I turn the K3 off (leaving on the power supply), I can't turn it on remotely. I need some way to be able to get into my remote PC, and activate some type of relay to make the K3 power up.
Anybody know of a product or drawing that will fit the bill?
Thanks in advance,
Jim - KE8G
