The ARRL has just released the 2016 Field
Day Package.  The announcement came in today's
ARRL Letter and it mentions two new opportunities
to earn bonus points.

The first is to advertise your field day exercise
on social media, for example Facebook.  We already
have a Facebook account so we can invite the general
public to our Field Day event via that media.  We
can include the Facebook URL in our Press Release.

The second opportunity is to appoint a Safety
Officer who will go through a check list of safety
items provided by the ARRL and certify compliance.
This is another easy way to earn extra points.  If
there is someone out there that would like to be in
charge of safety, please let me know.
