[Nodxa] FT1000MP repair complete

As some of you may know I recently had a tree struck by lightning that caused a surge to come in on the 80 meter vertical and associated control wiring. Both my radios were sent out for repair.

I sent my MP to WA4GEG, Electronic Equipment Servicing in TN, to get info for insurance. Byron was a pleasure to deal with and as luck would have it he said he COULD repair it (I thought it was toast!)
The turn around time was about 2 weeks and we communicated via email so I knew what was going on.

Byron did a professional job and did an alignment while it was there. The bill was very reasonable for the damage, parts needed and shipping.

If you have an MP or MARKV ( his specialties) that needs help I would highly recommend his service. Check his rating on EHAM (which is where I’m going after this)

I gave the MP a good ring out in FD making 1000Qs both CW and SSB (a few) No problems at all.

Now, still need to hear about the K3!
