The 2017 OhQP starts at noon EDT today. I hope everyone, especially those in Ohio, will make it on the air for at least a token effort. An hour or so will likely get you in the logs of the serious participants, and make the OhQP efforts of all more enjoyable.

And if you get hooked and keep going, even better!

Solar flux is at 81, geomagnetic field is quiet, and no thunderstorms nearby, so KYFC for some reasonably good conditions. And for those inside Ohio, don’t ignore the higher bands later in the day. Thursday night 15 meters was open very nicely from Ohio to W6 and parts of W0 at 0230z!
