I spoke with Ron's daughter yesterday and she indicated he was doing ok. No
visitors allowed at the nursing home. She has seen him through "window
visitation".

He still cannot walk unassisted. He continues to believe he will return
home, but the nursing home has advised that the likelihood of that happening
is not promising. His daughter tries to avoid that subject with him to keep
his spirits up and maintain a positive attitude. 

 

He had a recent birthday and is now 88 years of age. She encourages the club
members to send him a card and contact him by phone on occasion. She is
giving him a new phone that he should have by this Friday that will have his
old number, so wait until after Friday to call.
