Other Events this Week:

Special Event Station W8Y continues through Friday:
During the week of June 21-26, when the camp was supposed to take place, we
will have a special event station on the air! Youth who were selected to attend
YOTA camp 2020 will take turns operating as W8Y throughout the week from the
station of their choosing. Campers should sign up at YouthOnTheAir.org to be
added to the schedule. A remote station may also be available to use (ask for
details). Contact Marty, NN1C at special at youthontheair.org with questions.
If you were not selected as a camper for 2020, be sure to work W8Y on the
air this week!

Field Day Club Entry:
If you choose to operate Field Day from your home station, you can add your
score to a club for this year only. Enter ?Youth on the Air? as the club name
on your Field Day score entry if you are not contributing to another club
already. This is for ALL hams who are age 25 and younger . Do NOT use
acronyms (i.e. YOTA).

Field Day W8Y Remote:
If you want to operate Field Day from a remote controlled station, we have
one for you! You can log in by a Remote Desktop Connection (Windows) to
access the RemoteHams station provided by Jay, K4ZLE as well as the logging
software so that we have one location and one log. The station is located
between Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio. Youth who were selected to attend
YOTA camp 2020 can sign up for a time slot on the remote station provided
by Jay, K4ZLE.

Sign up for times at YouthOnTheAir.org no later than the end of Virtual
YOTA Day (8 pm EDT) on Wednesday, June 24. If you have questions, contact
Chris KD8YVJ, at fieldday at youthontheair.org . Chris will make a schedule
and send you the approved times and login information. We will accommodate
your schedule requests as much as possible. You MUST have a US amateur
radio license
