Hi DXers,
The On-Air NODXA meeting on 10 meters last night seem to run OK for
its first
run. Thanks again to Wayne, K8FF, for being the net controller. Club
business was
taken care of as well as a discussion where to hold the next meeting.
The major seem
to want to keep the meeting on 10 meters with ZOOM in second place. The
main reason
2 meters was not picked was that some members are not set-up for that
band and they
find it easier to operate on 10 meters. As far as ZOOM goes, some
members do not
have cameras or a computer. Most find that the coverage on 10 meters is
fine. Last
night we had a check-in from the west by Dennis, W0JX, from Milan, Oh,
and weeks
before Tim, K3LR, from West Middlesex, PA. We also had some newcomers
check-in;
hopefully some new members. We will be announcing the next meeting in a
couple of
weeks because there will NOT be a physical meeting for June.
We will keep you updated.... 73 de Tedd KB8NW
P.S. If you are on ICQ, give me a buss at 197378. Maybe we can start a
group chat.
