[Nodxa] LotW

That's super that you can get the DX to respond like that on A25/C92 Tedd. Probably due to a club donation. I think otherwise the DX would have withheld the LotW record until an OQR$ was done. I finally got my 1st cfm on LotW in several month, EA5XA on 30 CW from Jan, 2019. It is good for a new call on my Dig. worked DX attempt at the highest level for the award (2,000 EU call signs needed) on the DARC DCL. I'm also working on the EU-DX-D CW annual award, need at least 50 points in 2021 to file, sitting at 20 with some excess EU still there waiting on more DX. I was in ARRL CW DX contest this year and still waiting on many cfms from that. I suppose some may be busted calls I suppose having failed to submit a log on time and thus having no log-check report. I have to get things ready no later than CQ WPX CW at the end of this month. Something still acting up. Will try TS-130s again I guess. I seem resigned to having to change the SO-239 on my TS-140s, has Jap. connector. Have an Amphenol at the ready. Earlier TS-130 Kenwood was still using many US parts including an nice Amphenol SO-239. I had my 10m 25 watt rig out and all seems well except it seems to be making no output. The antenna connector is not the problem but I guess something could have happened over the years of not using it since pulling out of my prior mobile. When I take it off will try a dummy load to be sure.

 Glen,

They are both out there on Club Log. Haven't been around much, first college hoops and now working on some things for primary HiFi system.

Hi All,

Maybe the information has been there a while and i just didn't check
often enough.? But you can order QSL cards
for A25RU and C92RU on oQRS now. I'm still not seeing my credits on LOTW.

Hi all,
As you probably already know, the Florida QSO Party is this weekend, 1600Z to 0200Z Saturday and 1200Z to 2200Z Sunday. It will be great to be back as a real mobile in FQP, after last year's one day "mobile check log" entry. Which was still a lot of fun!
Once again, I'll be single op without a driver. In this I spend about 60% of the time operating while parked, 30% operating while driving, and 10% driving without attempting to operate. The later is chiefly driving through St. Petersburg and Tampa on I-275, with some shorter off times in other various towns and as situations arise.
I'm doing mixed mode, though as a mobile it is usually quite difficult to get things going on SSB. I usually find the most productive means of SSB is to move or be moved from CW. So if you need me on SSB, feel free to ask for a QSY so long as the pileup is not super crazy. Or I may ask you to move if I know I need your multiplier on SSB. And if you hear somebody moving me, do follow along! Typically I try to go to 14151 on SSB or somewhere low in the SSB segment on 40 meters. And return to CW when things dry up.
Note: I do not QSY to SSB while driving. Too much distraction to make that switch while moving.
I will have 15-20-40 available at all times. Switching bands (on CW) is generally not a safety issue, so if you hear 15 meters open, or 20 open later at night than one would expect, let me know.
I have a number of county line stops planned, so I hope to catch you often for double QSOs, even if one may well be a dupe from the county I'm leaving. No problem. There will also be a some counties where I make a return visit some time later after first being there.?
We do have a major geomagnetic storm promised starting Saturday evening. KYFC that it does not screw up the bands too badly. See you on the air!

Hello Jim,

I'm looking forward to working you in FQP, same as last year!

I will be QRP and cw only. My rig on 20m and 40m is the Doug DeMaw
designed qrp classic kit by Oak Hills Research, which I also used last
year.  I will have k3 on 15m or 10m.

Have fun!
