A reminder that the ARRL June VHF Contest starts today at 2 pm EDST. This is probably the best time of the year to check out six meters, with good activity and chance for E skip. Of course the higher bands are also in the mix, but if you're a serious VHFer you already know about the contest!.

If you don't have a six meter antenna, don't worry. If you have a 40 meter antenna, it will likely load up on six for you to have some fun up there.

Exchange is your four digit grid square.
