The next in-person meeting will be on Monday, September 8th, at Amici
Italian Restaurant&   Bar, in North Royalton:

Address is 13000 Royalton Road. Easy to get to and right on the
north-east corner at Route 82 and W.130th Street. Those who use I-71
will go east for about 2 miles instead of west now (missing all the
mall traffic).

PLEASE NOTE: Meeting will start at 6:30 pm, and anyone who would like to
have dinner can start to show up at 5:00 pm. The Restaurant serves not
only Italian food, but wings, burgers, panini sub-sandwiches and various
specialty drinks, beers and wines. So come on out and visit with the

Hi NODXA Members,

Received the following info from John's (K8YSE) son:

My dad, Carrie (his XYL) and I plan to participate in the 10GHz & Up
contest in 2 weeks.  I just acquired a 24GHz transverter + 18" dish
antenna & hope to make our 1st Q's on this band.  I added a IC-705
as the IF radio for the 10GHz station, so that should help us find the
signals. We will be at Lake Michigan, about a 5 minute drive from our
house--there is a nice beach location with flat boardwalk and deck
that should be easy for my dad to navigate.

Subject: DXAC - Seeking Input

Hi Tedd

As you may or may not have heard, I recently replaced Stan, AC8W as the GL Division DXAC Rep.

I'm writing to the DX clubs in the division to seek any feedback on the DXAC's review of the DXCC rules, specifically  inactive/deleted entities as this seems to be the fixation of most comments  regarding the DXCC program.

If any members have specific comments regarding inactive / deleted DXCC entities, I'd like to compile them from the GL Division.  We have the next two meetings reserved for this topic and any recommendations to the board.
