NO8DX, the club call of the Northern Ohio DX Association, took another spring break trip to Florida to play in the WPX contest from the condo superstation of K8MR, an 80M OCF up 45 feet or so in the trees along the edge of the condo property line. It shared the time with NC8C, the North Coast Contesters' club call, operating on the second day after NC8C had the first day.

Low power and simple antennas don't make for great rates, but I kept plugging away. The best run of the weekend was on 75 meters Saturday night, mostly USA stations in need of the multiplier. No great rates, but it was good to hand out the likely rare multiplier to those who were serious about the contest.

I hope to work lots of you in the Florida QSO Party in four weeks, when I'll be out mobile in south Florida.
