[Orion] left earphone popping

my orion emits into the left earphone a sound at the beginning of each code
element while transmitting cw.  the power level doesn't seem to matter.  it's
a popping or snapping sort of sound, not terribly loud, but loud enough to
notice, and the level doesn't vary with s-tone.  i'd think it had to do with
the qsk switching, but it's only coming out of the left earphone, not the
right.  it happens with three different headphones, so it's not the
headphones.  anyone else notice this?  thanks!
