[Orion] RX Ant Selection

This is probably a long shot, but I'd appreciate any comments.  I don't know how the Orion's antenna connections and selection switches are actually plumbed.  I was wondering whether the Orion could provide the option in firmware to always transmit on antenna 1 and configure both antenna 2 and rx ant as receive only antennas, thus allowing both the main receiver and subreceiver to select either antenna 2 or rx ant for receiving while always transmitting on antenna 1.  (I'd like to connect two Beverage antennas directly)

Thoughts?
