[Orion] ORION TUNING KNOBS

OK, Just got this beast (WOW is this thing huge)

Both tuning knobs have an uneven feel... a binding at about 9-10 o'clock.

Called TT, they said adjust the friction by turning the dial / skirt held 
still...

Did that, it adjusts the friction........BUT still not even tuning presure

NOT A GOOD WAY TO START OFF WITH A $3600. Radio.

Any feedback, sugestions etc from the group??
