[Orion] Orion Mike plug

Am a  prospective buyer....but, before taking the plunge....

Had an interesting land line with Bob Heil re using his mikes and
the Orion.  Apparently, Ten-Tec's insistence on using the old 4-prong
mike connector and also to relying on the SHELL for the ground has
caused problems in using Heil's mikes.
He recommends going into the Orion and moving the ground from the
shell back to pin 4.
Any comments?
