[Orion] 1000Hz tone on TX

Dear Orion Users

I have just taken delivery of a new Orion am on the learning curve 
still.  I am using the TT fist mic and I find that the TX audio has a 
fairly weak but audible tone of about 1000Hz on it.  This is heard both 
in the monitor and by other stations.  Has any one experienced this and 
if so is there a fix?
