[Orion] Help: Orion goes "Deaf" after transmitting

Good day, everyone:

Help!  One of our Orion's is going "deaf" after transmitting.  I can
turn the radio on, tune in a loud station, hit the foot switch briefly
and the station becomes MUCH weaker, with lower S/N.

Oddly, switching the receive antenna to another antenna and
back restores the signal level.  It doesn't act like the receive
antenna switching since turning the Orion off and back on also
clears the problem.

We loaded the new firmware and did a master reset which did
not help.  The other Orion works fine.

Any ideas on what might be causing this?  The next time I get
to the station, I'll swap the Orions and make SURE that the
problem moves with the transceiver.
