[Orion] Test

I subscribed after purchsing a nice used O2 in hopes of some feedback on the
V3 upgrade for the O2 before I apply it.
I guess it all works so well that everybody is busy enjoying their new found
radio's and not talking much about it....hopefully it's not because everyone
has sold out and bought a K3 or FT-5000.
I like the O2 but it's a different world coming from a Yaesu FT-1000MKV.
Have figured out the secret to it's performance is the RF gain settings but
still have to figure out and master the AGC. Many times it doesn't seem to
matter if the AGC is on, off or any setting in between...it's all the same.
Hopefully that's pretty normal...but if not I need to know.
Rig has had a few other DSP hickups but nothing serious.
I'm mostly a DXer with weak signal work being most important and Contesting
occasionally following second. Not much rag chewing and no interest in HIFI
SSB or AM. Probably 50% CW/SSB
Thanks...
