Tomorrow there should be a Scandinavian try on either 15 or 20 meter ssb
and/or CW. We don't know because the tents are coming down and they will be
working both modes from two tents.
I asked them for a half hour for LA, SM, OH, OZ and UA1 and 2.
I cannot guarantee 30 meters because I'm in Arizona and talk to them once a
day. I have to suspect they are tired beyond belief and basically, four
operators have made about 40 K contacts in 38 degree C wet heat.
The truth is that when I was on KH5K and KH5P in 1988 I stopped the JA from
working 30 meters because it didn't count for DXCC then. It does now and I
knew the would try it.
Can't please everyone. You should see the complaint mailbox, primarily from
RTTY frustrated operators as well as 160 freaks

We can see VP6DI finally spotted on 30 meters. The pile up is very audible .
Unfortunately the VP6DI frequency 10103.5 is covered by RTTY sidebands from
the German Meteo station on 10101, which is 30 dB over S9 here !!!!
Any chance they could move to say 10.106 -08 ?
The question will be asked, but this should have been told us a week ago.
It we had the slightest hint of hearing VP6DI on 30 meters we would have
told you so.
The way the intentions were presented, it did sound like 30 m was ruled out
at least to me.
