Hej danske contestere

Subject: Press Release: Danish Radio Amateurs Gain Access to 7100-7200 kHz
Dear Don (IARU Reg.1), dear IARU,
Denmark has joined the growing number of countries with access to 7100-7200 kHz!
Effective from January 1st, 2005, the legislative framework for Amateur Radio in Denmark will change: Danish Radio Amateurs, now restricted to 7000-7100 kHz, have been granted access to 7100-7200 kHz. The 40 meter band will encompass 7000-7200 kHz in Denmark.
This positive outcome is first and foremost the result of the combined efforts from EDR and the very good co-operation EDR enjoys with the Danish Telecommunication Authorities. EDR expresses a wholeharted thanks to the Authorities and look forward to using the new spectrum.
With best regards and Seasons Greetings,
vy 73,
Sven Lundbech
