[RFI] house wiring

Actually there are two ways to get sources for RFI reduction. One is
lightening protection and the other is Emp protection. Following the
recommendations for both will go a long way for Rfi protection. Also don't
forget the electrical code..... the tough decision though is weither to put
all the grounds for the house together or separate (ac power, telephone,
cable, ham, etc) - Depending on the reference point being used, there are
merits for both.

Another key point is that once you have shielded/filtered the house from
outside sources, what you do with the equipment in the house makes for
success of failure in all that effort you went to. For example. You put
three good rf proof phones on your new telephone system and get No RFI. Put
one bad phone on your system and they all hear RFI..... You put good cable
in your home for the Tv or Computer network. One poor Vcr, Tv or computer
connection, and they all get Rfi..... etc etc etc
