Not knowing the exact intercom circuit layout, I assumed each intercom
unit has both electonics AND speakers at every position.  This may or
may not be the case, but if it is, I think you'll need to place ferrites
at each unit on each end.

2) Chokes and other filters should go right at the electronics, not at
the speakers. It 
is the electronics that detects the RF, not the speakers.
