Rick,
<<<With 1012 comments filed, it is unlikely most of us have anything
new to say about it. Sheer numbers don't mean anything at the FCC.
If they did, the 160 meter phone subband petition would have been
accepted, since it had overwhelming support. (I sent in my comments
on that one).>>>
Were letters written to congress over that one? If there were a thousand
comments on file with FCC from a single district, a letter to that
district's congressman pointing that out would have an impact.
Numbers do count whether they are sent to FCC or congress.
<<<Also, the NPRM is not to approve or disapprove BPL. It is to put
more restrictions on it than are present now. We should be in FAVOR
of that.>>>
the NPRM is vague and unspecific. It attempts to claim that part 15
in its current form is adequate. That is not enough.
<<<Yes, it doesn't go far enough, but it is a step in the
right direction. Just what is it you want us to say to the FCC anyway?
The proposed rules don't go far enough, so we don't want any new rules?>>>
No, that the proposed rules do not go far enough and we want more stringent
measurement techniques and standards for radiation but better and more
important
a relocation of BPL to a region where skywave prop. is not the norm.
<<<BTW, have you written your congresscritters and the white house about BPL
as requested by Jim Haynie?>>>
Rick, why are you cross examining me, and adopting an adversarial tone in
your mail?
Am I your enemy? Do you not want the same things I want? Yes, I have
written
the President; I have filed comments with FCC; I have not yet written
congress.
How is knowing this important to you?
73,
Rob/K5UJ
