There are other options. Look at the Fair Rite catalog (study it carefully -- it takes hours to 
digest this stuff, and more hours to select the right parts). There are some VERY large 
clamp-ons of #31 or 78 material (don't remember which) that you could potentially get 
several turns through. Study the dimensions of the clamp-ons, the dimensions of the wires, 
order a selection of them, and give it a shot.  You are looking for a ferrite part that is as 
long as possible (consistent with the available length of wire).  R and X are proportional to 
length and proportional to the SQUARE of the turns. So two turns through a shorter core is 
twice as good as one pass through a longer one.  AND the greater number of turns will 
move the effective range down in frequency.
