[RFI] Ferrite Beads

I had a customer who had success in this application using the -43 1/2" split 
beads --
The manufacturer's data for these shows 50 ohms (per bead) @ 4 MHz, 75 ohms @ 
7 Mhz, 150 ohms @ 14 MHz. Whether they work or not depends on the RF 
impedance of the circuit being protected. This you usually don't know so you just have 
to try them. -- I'd advise against splitting toroids. The material is awful 
to work with; harder than a rock but shatters easily -- Jack, K6NY, Palomar
