Is it?  This all looks like copper or fiber, at least by inference.  The 
real deal for rural areas is WiMax, though wiFi is getting some traction 
near here already as a distribution medium over tens of square miles.  as 
long as it's not BPL... Manassas municipal power company were the ones 
behind the BPL trial there.
