[RFI] Whirlpool Duet Washing Machine RFI update

My memory's foggy on this.  
Didn't the FCC take this problem to Congress some time ago seeking some
sort of resolution in this area?  Wasn't it the Congress who failed to
act?  

Does anyone else remember that happening?

The FCC failed to adequately protect consumers when
they issued Part 15 regulations.  They SHOULD HAVE required
manufacturers to fix or repair equipment that is causing interference,
but they didn't.
