The problem is that would eliminate just about this entire region.  I don't 
think there is a spot in this county that isn't within 5 miles of one of 
those lines.  I have one on the back side of the property, about a quarter 
mile away.  The noise noticeably increases only when the receiver is 
directly under it.  Even if you found such a piece of property around here, 
I would wager that within 5 years plans would be in the works to build one 
nearby.  They were proposing to put a 500kv line less than a quarter mile in 
another direction from me.  It was finally decided to build it on the south 
side of the county, beacause building it here would produce a navigation 
hazard for helicopter training at the nearby army base.
