[RFI] HV lines

There has been many a field of crops grown intentionally on available land underneath HV power lines in Southern CA; these farmers seem quite satisfied with the
results.  Some even graze their livestock underneath these lines.
 
Didn't Katashi Nose (KH6IJ) write an article for one of the Ham Mags in the 1960's with an analysis of power line, mountain, and other obtacle impacts on yagis and maybe noise?  I am not sure.  Worth checking.
