It is become nearly impossible to use an AM radio
to listen to anything but the strongest stations
anywhere near populated or industrialized areas.

The RF-pollution is obscene and grows daily.

Since FCC enforcement has been under-staffed for
decades the abuses have grown without check.

It does not seem to be rocket science for them to
establish a streamlined system for online reporting.

It also does not seem to be rocket science to ID
consumer-grade tools to measure and document the
problems - delegate detection to Hams and perhaps
others - then back them up!

A wireless link to the FCC with the detection
device attached could send a picture of the
offending site attached to the instrument reading,
that should be sufficient to start things rolling.

The FCC could then send out the necessary letters
to warn the offenders.

The FCC could then sub-contract to private firms the
task of legally documenting the offender, and the
degree of offense, then issue fines and citations.

The word would get out and folks would stop buying
the junk because it would cost them too much in
hassle and fines.

Problem solved.
