David,

I flagged down a repair crew that afternoon while doing
photo recon ... let them know, but as the pole was a riser
for a lot with a now-removed structure (was an old house)
he didn't want to spend the time (this was the day after
our 1st large windstorm in 2 weeks - they were busy!)
but would return ... and they did!

And thanks for the feedback.
