[RFI] Fw: Direct TV DVR problems

I went around and around with Dish about that phone line to the DVR..
They absolutely insist that they will charge $5 if it is not connected.
Now....I am absolutely positive that several guys will tell my how to avoid
this charge if I disconnect it.
I'm listening......

I agree with Dale, you don't need to hook up a phone line. You can access 
movies via the internet or by just calling in. Or if you have a smart phone 
you can set it up with the phone. You might get messages that tell you that 
your DVR is not making the required calls, just erase them.
