> Samsung DLP. Two drawbacks: one is the bulb needs replacement every 4k hours or so of usage, the vbacksideo teh set is large by today's standards. But the contrast and overall picture is stunning when comperd with other tv's on the market today. Bulb replacement ($140.00-$160.00) is a half page "how-to " in the owner's manual.
>
> We like our 50 inche'r one new bulb in three years of 8 hours or so a day use.
>
> The DLP set use the least amount of energy, are known to have the brightest picture. We had to reduce the pic brightness level two day after purchase it was so intense.
