[RFI] Computer locks up

What is the antenna parallel to that may be coupling it into your
computer?

What cables are connected to your computer that may have resonance
on 40m (e.g. a long network extension cable)?

What devices are connected to your PC that may themselves have
cables that may be resonant on 40M?

Is your antenna truly resonant on 40M or might you have a high
SWR that is causing the feedline to radiate?

Those are some of the questions I have been told to ask when
I have experienced RFI in the shack in the past.

Someone else would have to deal with the core mix question.
