[RFI] Computer locks up

I've found at least in my case, in the past that a 31 mix snap-on from Mouser:

P/N of the #31 mix snap-on is: 623-0431164181

Placed on the keyboard and mouse cables was the easiest, quickest and most helpful way of getting rid of computer ingested RFI. Try to wrap as many turns as you can around the snap-on device then I like to squeeze them good and wrap the snap-on with some electrical tape to keep it from separating while being careful not to damage the cable itself. As they say though, the milage may differ and your case might present other problems. You won't know until you try it.

I usually keep a goodly supply of #31 and 43 mix snap-on's for use in suppression of RFI problems. They are handy to have because you can try them and remove them without having to cut wires or cables.

Good luck and 73&DX
