[RFI] AM radio RFI from 2010 Ford Escape

On the Ford there are several circuits that produce noise:

The ABS sensors can easily be heard using the AM radio, place the vehicle in
neutral and coast to a stop...the slower you go the slower the ABS sensor
clicks until the vehicle stops and the ABS sensor noise stops.

The fuel pumps used to be noisey. There is a warrantee gimmic (filter cap
and inductor) that requires the gas tank to be dropped to install. Under
warrantee you only waste your time while it is installed figure 2-3hrs.
After warranty expect to waste about the same amount of time and pay about
$200.

There are no fixes for the igniter or alternator whine.

Good Luck,
dave
