[RFI] Line Noise Question

: For the heck of it I googled "120kHz line noise" and the first few
: hits are about the X-10 (remember that?) remote appliance powerline
: control system, which appears to use a 120kHz carrier.  Don't know if

I have many boxes of the X10 equipment here.  I never used it, so am not 
familiar with any noise it may make.  I also have several sets of wireless 
phone jacks.  My only experience with those was about 12 years ago, a 
neighbour had one, I could hear all their calls around 3.8 MHz.
