When tracking RFI, we hear it because it's broadband an interfering with most everything else we want to listen to or do. The sound is unique enough, the range is wide, if it wasn't, it wouldn't be a problem. Power lines for example. Unique sound, RFI from 60Hz to microwave. Kurt
