Right.....
I had the very same noise from a Pro-Scan TV as well....long before plasma.
It was super loud on 80mtrs.
I stopped it for the most part with a stub attached to the chassis.

This sound is very, very close to what I heard many years ago from my old
Sony TV (picture tube type) as the displayed picture changed.  Was able to
clean it up with lots of ferrites on every cable.

I was sure glad to throw it away after I stripped down all the ferrites of
course.
