What you say is of course true -- you can only kill one at a time. That 
said, you can often times choose your target, by adjusting the phasing.  
Getting rid of the most offensive noise source will usually allow you to 
be reasonably operational again -- my goal.

If you use two antennas that are both capable of good tx performance, 
then you have an additional weapon: switching the two antennas around. 
You can do this by installing a dpdt switch in the unit and doing a 
little rewiring.

The main PITA with cancellers is the time you spend getting the 
adjustments right.
