[RFI] Power spectrum analyzer

Dear All, 

Would anyone have direct experience powering an AC operated spectrum analyzer from a vehicle? 

I purchased a pure sine wave inverter and while the sine wave looks clean at power frequencies there is a tremendous amount of medium and high frequency noise that the inverter produces and radiates. It renders my Rigol spectrum analyzer useless in my vehicle.
