[RFI] New Larger Fair-Rite #31 Toroid

Can I just "push this over" the absurd edge (b/c I don't think we're in Kansas working at the Bendix-King plant anymore)?

I don't want a 'voltage' or 'current' balum, I want an RF POWER balum. (misspelling intended)

Of course it is.  It forces common mode current toward zero, leaving balanced differential currents in the two conductors.  What more should it do, make coffee too?

Balun is short for Balanced to unbalanced, so the common mode choke is not a 1:1 BALUN.
