Lotsa luck.

Alarm company equipment and systems are notorious for their RFI 
susceptibility. Call Kidde and tell THEM to fix it. Any product that 
isn't a radio should not receive or be affected by radio signals. If it 
does, it's defective. If they won't fix it, demand your money back.
