[RFI] RFI Digest, Vol 180, Issue 17

Beware of LG refrigerators and clothes washers... We bought them and they
cause all kinds of RFI problems on HF.... Rule in the house now is no
washing clothes while on HF and refrigerator is turned off at the breaker
box.... Saw a Lowes truck in front of the house and I asked the driver if
they were delivering LG washers in the neighborhood and he said almost once
or twice a week...Bad news for me as the RFI can travel some distance to
your antenna.... Where is the FCC on all of this?    Bill NC7MT
