[RFI] Question Regarding Variations In Solar Panel RFI?

W1VLF is in a relatively quiet neighborhood. He, too, had loud spikes every 200 kHz, which did go away when they replaced the optimizers. The inverter at his QTH is still noisy, so he is working with the engineers there to try to find better solutions.

James:

Glad to hear that you're able to us HF again so congratulations. I'd be interested in seeing your before and after screenshots so please feel free to send them my way.

Thanks, Tony -K2MO

Remember I live in a subdivision, so it’s noisy anyway, and I have a few noise sources in my house. But two local ACS/ARES nets that take place on 75m at 9 am local time are now readable again. I never had a problem, even on the very weak signals until the panels were installed and running. Then, even moderate signals were hard to copy....after the recent work/retrofit, I now have my “ears” back....
